Center for Courts and the Community
The Center for the Courts & the Community, a part of the New York State Unified Court System, supports the efforts of judges and courts to engage and educate communities across New York in the role that the courts play in our democracy. In response to a statewide survey, it was clear that the Center needed to increase awareness and understanding of the role the courts take in our communities. One step in this effort was the launch of a new website that offers information about the work that the courts undertake. The newly-designed site offers information to engage and educate youth, support community outreach, improve public education as well as other information.
