NYC Center for Charter School Excellence Materials
Launched in 2004, The New York City Center for Charter School Excellence is an independent, not-for-profit organization that acts as a partnership between New York City and the philanthropic community. Its mission is to stimulate the supply of the high quality charter schools and support ongoing student excellence in all NYC charter schools, impacting the effectiveness of public education. The first project for The Center was a 16-page "Guide to NYC Charter Schools" (in both English and Spanish) that was inserted into "The New York Times", the "Daily News" and "El Diario/La Prensa" in later March 2005, reaching nearly 900,000 homes throughout the New York City area. Soon thereafter, The Center engaged the firm to develop materials including newsletters, flyers, booklets and their first Annual Report.
