Ossining Design Firm Wins 10 Awards at Advertising Gala
(OSSINING, N.Y., JUNE 9, 2010) Interactive marketing agency Hudson Fusion LLC of Ossining, N.Y., received 10 awards at The Advertising Club of Westchester’s Big W Awards Gala on June 9.
A leader in digital design and online marketing, Hudson Fusion walked away with a first-place gold award, three silver awards and six bronze awards at the event held at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, N.Y.
“We were very pleased to be recognized in so many categories,” said Cindy Penchina, Hudson Fusion’s founder and executive director. “Of course our purpose is to create great results for our clients, not to win awards, but awards do help to validate what we have worked so hard to achieve.”
Awards Hudson Fusion received at the Big W gala included a gold award for a stationery package design for Perlman + Perlman; a silver award for an interactive online book and a marketing awards book for American Express; and a second silver for a corporate identity package for Perlman + Perlman.
The firm received bronze awards for website designs for IJS Global, Jenesis Group and Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES Arts in Education; a sales presentation for Pitney Bowes; and newspaper and direct mail campaigns for the Hudson Fusion brand.
Hudson Fusion’s website for Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES Arts in Education has been “a great success,” said Michelle Sherer, arts coordinator for the Yorktown Heights arts organization.
“The website is very easy to maneuver around and find what you’re looking for,” Sherer said. “With the seven hundred arts programs in the directory, monthly arts calendars, past evaluations of programs and more, the site offers a wealth of information that’s easily accessible. I’ve received only positive comments from those who use the site.”
In recognition of excellence in creative and technical achievement, The Advertising Club of Westchester presents Big W awards annually to advertising, marketing and PR agencies, copywriters, photographers, illustrators and others engaged in advertising work in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The club was founded in 1968.
In May, Hudson Fusion received an Award of Distinction from Communicator Awards for its American Express Cardmember Stories poster series. This award is given by New York-based International Academy of the Visual Arts for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and achievement. The firm was also recognized in April with a bronze-level award from Summit International Awards for its work on the American Express Cardmember Stories posters.
