Two Local Marketing Firms Merge to Form Hudson Fusion
Partners Provide Integrated Marketing to help Businesses Grow
Ossining, NY – (January 02, 2007) -- DesignWorks NY and Penchina Web Design, two Westchester area firms, have merged to form Hudson Fusion, an integrated marketing firm. The announcement was made today by Kelley Briggs and Cindy Penchina, the new company’s principals. Hudson Fusion will operate from the former Penchina Web Design offices at 30 State Street, Ossining, NY.
Hudson Fusion takes a synergistic approach to its clients’ sales, marketing and business growth goals by melding Briggs’ 20 years of branding, marketing and design experience with Penchina’s 10 years technology, e-commerce and web expertise. All marketing components, including websites, marketing materials and collateral materials, are closely analyzed to determine brand equity and positioning, and then modified or reinvented to create a unified, seamless and consistent message.

Briggs specializes in brand identity and business-to-business marketing. She honed her talents during her nearly two decades of industry experience in graphic design, marketing, advertising, and direct mail. Prior to founding DesignWorks NY, she worked at various advertising and public relations agencies and corporate in-house marketing departments. Under Briggs’ direction, DesignWorks NY has received numerous advertising and design awards for creative excellence. Briggs, of Peekskill, earned her BFA in graphic design at the State University of New York at Fredonia.
Penchina founded her first company, Penchina Web Design LLC, and began developing websites over 10 years ago -- the Internet was in its infancy and few foresaw the marketing power of the well-designed website. She was pursuing a Master’s degree in instructional technology when she learned HTML and began designing websites part-time. An opportunity to create a website for a non-profit organization blossomed into a full-time career. Cindy resides in Cortlandt Manor, NY and received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Language Sciences from Hofstra University, and Master’s degrees in Instructional Technology and Communication Sciences from New York Institute of Technology and Winthrop College.
